The 15 Richest Fictional Characters – 2013 Edition

It’s been quite some time since I last made a post.  My apologies for that.  I’ve taken up too many other activities to keep up on a regular basis.  Don’t worry – I’m still quite the entertainment junkie.  I came across this fun little gem from none other than Forbes magazine.  They ranked the richest 15 fictional characters for 2013.  Who knew this reputable business magazine dabbled in the world of make believe.  Check out the source link for all the details but here are the #1, the #15 and the one that most surprised me.

#1: Scrooge McDuck – Not surprising that he comes in ranked this high at a fictional wealth of $65.4 billion.  He has a money vault that he swims in for heaven’s sakes.

#15: Jay Gatsby – His fictional wealth clocks in at $1 billion.  Who knew bootlegging in the 1920s was so Lucrative?  Nucky Thompson is going to have to try a lot harder to make this top 15 list.

Most Surprising: Mary Crawley at #14 – I just didn’t realize the Crawley fortune was worth quite so much money at $1.1 billion.  Every season they just seem to be on financial hardship.  I guess the British nobility have a different set of rich/poor criteria.
